Healthy breakfast protects children from being overweight

An energetic breakfast is very important for children. But, many eat sweets in the morning or nothing at all. The best mesh would be grain, fruit, vegetables and milk so that children can start the day in the best possible manner. If breakfasts are regularly balanced and healthy, children are less likely to become overweight. Ultimately, this could even prevent a type 2 diabetes.

About a third of 11 to 15-year-olds go to school without breakfast. This also affects the ability to concentrate and learn. The child’s brain must be constantly supplied with energy in order to process all the learned material.

Sweets, soft drinks and products made from white flour should not be sent in the school bag for the children to eat during recess. These products contain a lot of sugar and also supply energy only in the short term.
